Game Changing' Donation to Kicking Off

Posted: 12th November 2018

We announced in January this year that Cashflow Bridge had proudly become a charity corporate partner to the new, innovative and dynamic football charity, Kicking Off.

This partnership sees us make donations throughout the year to help with their amazing work out in Ghana, bringing medication and education to deprived communities through the power of football.

It is now with even greater pleasure that we announce we have made an additional donation to the charity this month...

...we have donated £2,000!

Our donation will ‘get the ball rolling’ for the 2019 ‘game plan’, enabling another tournament to go ahead. A tournament, which cost £1,500, brings together local communities, bringing hope and happiness to hundreds of children and young people. It’s at these tournaments that over 500 children, teachers, referees and medics are provided with a vital lunch and fresh water, and are given, what can be, life saving medical checks.

Last year alone, the dedicated Kicking Off’s medical team diagnosed and treated 6 life threatening cases of malaria.

2018 has been a ‘premiership’ year for the charity. Not only have they organised a further 2  football tournaments this year, they have also teamed up with the Helen Hodgkins Trust to bring ’the greatest gift’ and basic human right of clean water bore holes to many communities.

Donating has certainly made us feel good. It’s a scientific fact that donating to charity feels as good as eating chocolate (it releases the same organic chemical, dopamine, in the brain) and in the run up to Christmas you’ll be pleased it know this chocolately donation high is calorie free!

So, forget that fancy coffee, pint of beer or glass of wine tonight, instead text KICK to 70007 to donate £3 to Kicking Off , the cost of securing the place of one more child’s entry into the tournament – guaranteed to make you feel great!
