Fundraising is a ‘chain reaction’ for our Founder, Carole Roe
Our founder, and Managing Partner, Carole Roe is a Trustee to the innovative charity, Kicking Off.
Many of you will also be aware that we support Kicking Off as a corporate charity partner – a charity that, with an army of volunteers, changes and improves the lives of thousands of children, young adults and communities through medication, education and clean water across Africa and in refugee camps across the world.
This year, Carole, and fellow Trustee’s Helen MacKenzie and Kate Parker, will be riding from Land’s End to John O’Groats in a bid to raise thousands for this worthwhile and inspirational charity. Not that it is ever an easy task, but these ladies, and fellow riders and fundraisers, are aiming to do the notoriously hard ride in just 9 days – yes, 9 continuous days of riding 100 miles. Ouch!
Carole, who works tirelessly in what little free time she has (she is a Trustee to many charities and sits on many boards) to help and support Kicking Off as they aim to work towards the UN’s sustainable development goals...
Clean water & sanitation
Good health & wellbeing
100% of all the money raised by this arduous bike ride will go to Kicking Off to save lives and change lives.
Carole’s fundraising efforts have included raising over £800,000 for ChildLine over the last decade, and has raised over £30,000 for Kicking Off at a glamorous black tie Ball earlier this year with fellow Kicking Off Trustee, Helen. Carole’s even running last year’s London Marathon.
So, please, if you can ease their ‘saddle sore’ pain and help the ladies in their fundraising efforts and donate as little or as much as you can on their joint Kicking Off Charity Bike Ride Just Giving page - from the bottom of their hearts, thank you! (Yes, pun intended!).
